Bio

Nicola Hepworth (née Whitelaw) MA PGCE  

Born in London, lives in London Fields, Hackney, East London. 

Studied at :

Chelsea College of Art and Design, Foundation Course,1989-1990 

Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art, Fine Art MA ( Hons)1990-95

Institute of Education, PGCE, 1997-98

Essential School of Painting, Postgraduate Course: "The Bigger Picture"                      with BobandRoberta Smith 2017-18

Teaching and Art Education

Teacher of Art in London Secondary schools 1998-2019

I have been teaching KS3, GCSE and A level Art since 1997. I also have experience of home tutoring for A Level, of running workshops in schools, museums and at festivals and community events. I can face-paint to a professional standard and have worked as a face -painter. I am also qualified to teach History of Art and have experience of teaching what was the AQA A level syllabus.
